SpeeDee Worldwide announced today that it has opened a SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service franchise location in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, its first store in the market. The shop, which opened May 21, will host public grand opening celebration activities this summer.
The new SpeeDee, located at 124 University Center Drive, is backed by the brand known for its signature 17-Point Oil Change as well as providing full automotive repair and maintenance services including tires and wheel alignments, providing customers a total car care solution under one roof. The 8-bay store in Winston-Salem will provide quick, convenient service by SpeeDee Performance Certified technicians, featuring a comfortable lobby outfitted with rocking recliners, bottled water, and a coffee bar – with entertainment available on a 75” TV for customers to enjoy.
This franchised location is locally owned and operated by Brian Morrison, owner of SpeeDee locations in Charlotte, NC and Spartanburg, SC with plans to continue his expansion into additional Mid-Atlantic markets. “My Winston-Salem team and I look forward to delivering on the same, outstanding service we deliver at our other locations – service that SpeeDee has been known for throughout the country for more than 40 years,” stated Morrison.
“SpeeDee has built long-lasting customer relationships in markets across the country through a transparent customer experience that is part of our Total Trust Guarantee. This allows customers to track all that is happening with their car through live cameras in the service bays, large lobby windows, and open bay doors. The transparency even extends to pricing, where all costs are shown clearly before any work is performed. This new location increases our trust footprint into Winston-Salem, and we’re thrilled to be a part of this community,” added Wes Stephenson, SpeeDee President and Chief Operating Officer.
